Quick facts: This is the first wind park in Georgia. Development began in Jul 2014. The plant is in Gori, Shida Kartli region, and was opened on 6 Oct 2016. The cost was about USA $34mn. The EBRD provided a loan of $25mn for the project and Meventus acted as an advisor to GIEC.

Quick facts: This plant was inaugurated on 17 Dec 2005 at a site at 2000m elevation near Gargar village It is Iran's first-ever wind plant export and was built with a $3.5mn grant from the Iranian government. Most power is used by the nearby town of Stepanavan.
