Quick facts: Kingsbridge-I is part of a two-phase wind farm being built on 1,000ha near Goderich in Huron County. As part of the project, over 30km of 27.6kV overhead line were built to the Hydro One Goderich substation.

McLean's Mountain

Quick facts: This WPP is on the northeast side of Manitoulin Island in Lake Huron, the largest freswater lake island in the world. The project is a JV of Nortland Power and local First Nations corporation Mnidoo Mnisking Communities. Power is evacuated at 150kV. After about a year of construction, commercial operation began in May 2014. GE has a 10yr service O&M agreement.

Quick facts: The Melancthon site is on 2,500ha optioned for wind power development in Melancthon Township in southern Ontario. Approximately 17km of 34.5kV overhead transmission line, and a 34.5/230kV substation have been installed to interconnect the wind plant to the existing Hydro One 230kV circuit B4V.
