Quick facts: This plant is on the Vardar River 8km downstream from Negotino town. It has generally been used infrequently, mostly as a reserve for dry-year conditions. Site support infrastructure was built out for a second unit. In 2005, the plant was spun out of Macedonia's state power company ESM and put up for sale, but several efforts to sell the plant have failed. There are plans to convert the unit to dual-fuel capability.

Quick facts: This TPP is in an industrial zone 4km from Zrenjanin city center and supplies steam to for district heating and to local industries. Themain plant has two boilers with total steam capacity of 310 tph and 140 MWt of thermal capacity. Annual power production is up to 750 GWh.
