Quick facts: Anshun was Guizhou's first 1-GW power station and supplies the grids in Guizhou and Guangdong as part of the the West-to-East Electricity Delivery system. The first two units are owned 60:40 by China Guodian and Guizhou province. Units 3&4 are owned by CLP (70%), China Huadian Corp (18%), and Guizhou Development and Investment Corp (12%). All four units have wet lime FGD systems of Kawasaki Heavy Industry design.

Quick facts: This supercritical plant in Fuquan County, Qiannan AP, is jointly-invested by China Guodian (55%), Guangzhou Development Power Investment Co Ltd (30%), and Guizhou Shuicheng Coal and Electricity Co Ltd (10%), with 5% held in common. The project was approved in Mar 2009 and Unit-1 began start-up on 30 Nov 2012.

Quick facts: This plant in Nayong County, Bijie Prefecture, and was designed to burn local, low-volatile anthracite. Harbin was the BTG supplier for Units 1&2 and Shanghai supplied Units 3&4. These are all tangentially-fired boilers, the first such installations in China for this fuel. Dynamic invetment was 4.54bn yuan. Wok started on 25 Nov 2001 and the final unit commissioned on 30 Sep 2004.

Quick facts: In August 1998, the ADB approved a loan for construction of the 121km Guizhou Shuibai railway, a standard-gauge, single-track, electrified line from Liupanshui to Baiguo in the western part of Guizhou. The Panxian and Faer power plants were expanded and built along the railway to take advantage of increased access to coal supplies. The second pair of 600-MW units have wet limestone scrubbers from CPI Yuanda.

Quick facts: This supercritical TPP in Xishui County, Zunyi City, is jointly-invested by SPIC, Guizhou Province Development and Investment Co Ltd, Xuzhou Mining Group Co, Ltd, Chongqing Long Electric Industrial Development Co Ltd, Xishui Assets Investment Management Co Ltd, and five other miniroty owners. The project was approved at 4 X 660 MW on 14 Mar 2011, ground-breaking was on 29 Dec 2011, and Unit-1 completed its 168hr trial run on 23 Oct 2015.
