Quick facts: The Gent-Ham diesel sets were retired and replaced by a pair of Trent 60 gas turbines. In 6mos starting in the fall of 2006, two of the three diesel sets were demolished to the foundations, which were then reused for the new GTs along with other site infrastructure.

Quick facts: In May 2006. MAN B&W Diesel secured an order for this CHP engine, the largest yet run exclusively on biofuels. The CHP plant fuel is waste oil of animal and vegetable origin prepared in the customer’s own facility according to OEM specifications. Thermal output is 14 MW.
