Quick facts: Production at Naturno has averaged 315 GWh/yr. The scheme includes a dam on the Rio Senales in Vernago, a 15km pressure tunnel, a 2km long, 2m diameter penstock, the powerhouse in Naturno, and a channel discharge to the Rio Adige. The photo shows the 220/66kV plant switchyward.

Naturno-Tel Rebuild

Quick facts: The Tel plant first went into operation in 1898 with a dam on the Rio Adige in Parcines and the powerhouse in Lagundo. The project was designed by Ing Oscar von Miller di Monaco from Germany and built in only three years. The plant has been refurbished thee times, in 1904, 1920, and 1997. In the latter overhaul, four new T/G sets were installed. Cenrale di Tel is among Italy's oldest preserved 19th Century hydopower stations.
