Quick facts: The Nizhnekamskneftekhim complex is one of Europe's largest petrochem works with over 100 procuts including synthetic rubber, plastics, monomers, and other products. The company is part of TAIF Group and also listed on stock exchanges in Russia and Germany. NKNH is the largest energy user in Tatarstan consuming 9% of the electricity and 29% of thermal energy generated by the republic's entire power system. The CHP plant began commissioning in Aug 2007.
