Quick facts: In Oct 2007, PT Bekasi Power started construction on this captive CCGT project in Kota Jababeka, Jababeka Industrial Estate Phase III, West Java. The developer is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PT Jababeka, the first publicly-listed industrial estate developer in Indonesia. Electricity is sold to tenants in Jababeka’s industrial estates and surrounding areas. Simple-cycle operations started in June 2009 and the entire project was completed in December 2009. Gas supply is from PGN and Pertamina.

Quick facts: In Nov 2003, work got underway on the Betara natural gas processing plant and associated facilities in Jambi Province, central Sumatra. The development is by a consortium of PetroChina, Petronas, and Pertamina which encompasses gas gathering and field facilities in the Jabung block, the Betara gas plant, pipelines, and a fractionation unit and offshore facilities for shipment of LPG and condensate products.

Quick facts: PTCL was the first private company to be granted a BOO license for a power station in Indonesia, and a 300-MW gas fired CCGT was built to serve five industrial estates about 45km east of Jakarta. The company also has 150 MW of take-or-pay capacity contracts with PLN. In Jun 2005, GE Energy received an order for a Frame 9E gas turbine for Phase 3 of the Cikarang plant. In Apr 2011, a second 9E gas turbine was ordered along with HRSGs and a steam set. Construction on the CC extension started in Q4, 2008 and was finished in May 2012. Listrindo is a 36.38% owned by PT Udinda Wahanatama, 31.81% by PT Brasali Industri Pratama, and 31.81% by PT Pentakencana Pakarperdana.
